One day, a human daddy gives his son a pair of binoculars, just as a monster daddy also gives his young one a pair. The human kid and monster kid start observing each other curiously from afar, discovering each other's rituals and quirks and even imitating each other.

This creative dual narrative vividly depicts the inquisitive, mischievous, and innocent nature of children.

Yu SUN (writer) majored in world literature and comparative literature. She has a master of Arts in children's literature and won the Bingxin Children's Literature New Work Award and the Bingxin Children's Picture Book Award. Her works include children's novels and picture books.

Jing ZENG (illustrator) had the chance to illustrate for this picture book by winning the golden award in the CHINA ILLUSTRATION BIENNIAL.
