In spring, before going out, the carpenter planted a pumpkin seed. In the autumn, he came home to find the pumpkin vine crawling out of the wall and into the wider world. So the carpenter followed the vine, climbed the mountains, and finally found a huge pumpkin. What fun will this big pumpkin bring?

This picture book is based on tradional Chinese pastoral life. 

A Se (real name YAO Jianjiang) from Zhuji (Zhejiang Province) is a picture book writer, independent comic artist and hand-drawing artist. Since 2008 he has created cartoons and illustrations for more than ten magazines, and created cover illustrations for many books. He has published many picture books, including Black Dried Vegetables, White rice and Moon, Moonlight.
