This picture book records 100 species of birds observed by the illustrator, Besom in Chongqing. It includes hand -drawing pictures of the birds‘ living habits, 100 beautiful bird illustrations, 8 hand-drawn maps of natural parks in Chongqing, 8 bird watching diaries. The bird illustrations are also detachable postcards!
The author Mae Besom is passionate about the environmental public welfare. In 2017, as a volunteer of Guarding the Wilderness, she was off to Xinjiang followed those people who were on the first line of animal protection. In 2019, she organized the environmental protection agency-Guarding the Wilderness and created a series of A Milk Teahouse in the Mountains in order to protect the rare species animals like snow leopard and kittens.

Mae Besom is a Chinese illustrator and author. In 2014, her illustration for What Do You Do with An Idea was printed in America. She is the Winner of The Children Book Golden Award of The American Moonlight Book. The series of What You Do Matters were ranked on the list of The New York Times-Bestseller of Children's Picture Book.
