This is the very first time BCBF devotes an exhibition to 100 publishing gems selected among the titles entered for the Bologna Ragazzi Award 2022. Among over 2200 titles from 62 countries, three international juries selected the winners and awarded special mentions to several books. Alongside these, many other titles were greatly admired by the juries and came very close to winning. For the very first time BCBF devotes an exhibition also to these 100 publishing gems and is proud to contribute to their visibility on the international stage.

BOLOGNA'S EXHIBITION - Li TAOYU (TOYOU)
Summary: The little mole who is blind went on an adventure from the countryside to the city. During his journey, he received help from everyone, which made him feel much less afraid of the city. The star is a metaphoric and conceptual expression of a warm heart. This story tells the young readers, everyone is a twink star, and we collectively are a sky full of stars.
Who Stole My Sleep？is his another wonderful book!
About the Author/Illustrator
TOYOU, formally known as Taoyu Li ,illustrator, freelancer. He received his bachelor's degree and master's degree in illustration from the University of Arts London, UK. His works have won many awards at home and abroad, and have been exhibited in China, Britain, Poland, and other countries. He likes new things, photography and traveling, He dream of being like a child and living a simple life, telling stories to more people with his own works.
