Little pINK lIGHTNING
-
In the winter sky, a flash of small pink lightning was born. It fell to the ground faintly. It accidentally woke up the hibernating little frog. The little frog brought the lightning to the river, and the frozen fishes in the river were awakened. The lightning felt that his power was getting stronger and stronger. It wanted to wake up all things on the earth, such as worms in the ground and clouds in the sky. Finally, it became pink peach blossoms on a tree. Spring is coming.
It’s a story about the Chinese traditional solar term “The Waking of Insects”. It used a printmaking drawing style to portray how lightning wakes every kind of sleeping creature and brings spring to the earth. We can feel the connection between nature and the changeable life force in the cute story.
